The tournament was held this year at the Merchants GC. The weather was dry and the views exhilarating. Benny scored a gross 77, and Arnie 42 Stableford points. A visiting ex-member (Charlie MacLean) actually managed to score 72 and 43 Stableford points, but he won the honour and some balls. (The trophies are reserved for current members).
Also to be mentioned are:
- Gordon Bird (best current rugby player and Stableford runner-up, with 34 points).
- Geoff Harris (runner-up in Scratch competition with 80)
