Hollie Davidson officiated at the recent Ladies World Cup Final (between NZ and England).
On Friday 8 September, the club recognised her achievement by making some presentations prior to a 1st xv Cup Header. (The Ladies were playing Watsonians and the Men Hillhead-Jordanhill). The two sides combined to recognise Hollie's achievement, while Bill Fell presented Hollie with a Quaich and photo on behalf of the club.
Hollie has been a valued member of the ladies section for a number of years, including playing in our Cup winning side in 2016. She has also served on our committee.
When her refereeing took off, she concentrated fully on this aspect of the game. Her appointment at the World Cup finals therefore represents a meteoric rise to the top of the game.
Her photo will soon join the other club members who have represented her country, on our wall in the clubhouse.
(Thanks to Adrian Henry at www.rugbypeople.net for the photo).
